Therefore, they're native to America.
Are they from India?
No.
Therefore, not Indian.
Native American is politically correct, not Indians. I understand everybody calls them Indians, but just because the majority of people do something doesn't make it right. You're college education should have 'enabled' you to see that.

They call them indians only in english. On their own language, there is a difference and nobody thinks of someone from india when you say indian. The fault here is in the english language which doesn't make the distinction.

My college education made me understand the minorities of this country, especially the younger generation, hates the politically correct terms. Stop letting Fox News and AL Sharpton brainwash you into thinking that. Ask your own friends. I have several African American friends. Only I don't refer to them as that. If a situation ever occurs where I would have to, they're black. Oh I'm a Native American. You? A European American?
