[spoiler]warning. This is the journal of a scientist and contains graphic scenes that may not be suitable for brony-kind[/spoiler] Day 1- specimen found. Beginning analysis I shackled its feet so it can't get away. Then I took out my table of tools and pick out the favorite. The first to go is the rainbow tail and mane, cut off with jagged scissors. Next comes the mark. I took a rusted knife and slowly cut it away, first cutting an X across it then around it so it was removed in four parts. The table that the specimen sits upon is slightly angled so that all blood drains into one hole which is collected by a large container. I then spent the next few hours cutting bits and parts away from the body with other various utensils in strategic and non vital locations. The screams the specimen let out were quite laughable. Soon, however, it got quite boring. I then laced my tools with added fun: a mixture of peroxide, Lemmon juice, and rock salt on a superheated blade. All the while the specimen is awake and alert. After the days session, I wrapped the specimen up as to not get infected...yet. Day 2- anatomy I came back to find the specimen alive. Good. Today I will be looking more closely at the specimen. I rotated the specimen so that it lays on it's back and restrained it there. This time I used a fresh scalpel, as I needed the specimen to be alive. I slowly cut down the center of the body towards the flank. Upon opening the cavity, I was surprised to see much the same organ structure as a normal horse. I kept bumping into one of the specimen's outstretched wings, and it was getting rather annoying. I grasped the end and the base and broke it backwards with a satisfying crack and scream. I laid the tip of the wing right next to the specimen's face. I continued to explore the depths of the specimen, removing a few non vital organs in the process. After I was done exploring, I stitched the specimen up and recovered it. Day 3- the final test Upon returning, I was surprised to see the specimen still screaming. Today I am going to test how the specimen handles various biological agents. First I start with common illnesses such as the flu and the common cold. I then injected the specimen with live cancer, malaria, bubonic, and rabies. One disease per leg, to see what happens as they spread and meet in the core. That was all for the day. I looked one last time at the specimen, tears were running down its face, and it lost its voice partly from screaming so much and me removing it's voice box. I removed the blood jar, capped it, and set it on a shelf. I left the specimen there for the next few days. Day 4- results I re-entered the area the specimen was being kept. I wore a full biohazard suit as to not contract any of the diseases myself. Upon entering, I noticed the specimen was dead. Shame. The mixture of diseases caused them to combine into a devastating disease. Most of the hair and flesh had fallen off, and clogged the drain. Most of the tissue had almost melted into a pool of liquid. The bones had even begun to rot. From this test, I have discovered a way to cause the body to decompose at an alarming rate.
