Ginger arrives in the Imperial Throneworld of Earth, but the city he sees is both incredible, and sickening. It's clearly the future, but what was once grandeur was now gritty, firstly, and impoverished. The planet appears to be under siege, but Imperial ships are clearly winning. The leader of the group, named Lincoln, looks at Ginger
"What you are looking at is the Empire of the future. We were under siege from the Sol Coalition forces, and we were on the brink of defeat before we pushed through... Barely. This was millennia before my birth, but in every school across the Empire you learn the story of the assassination of Emperor Cleon. He... He was truly great, and was close to preparing peace talks with the Ignus in return for the Imperials not blowing up their planet, but he was killed before he could do so. This prolonged the war, and forced future Emperors to commit genocide against both the Ignus and the Void Council. We cannot let this happen..."
