2 breakfast sandwiches - $8 bucks
Redbull $3.30
Girls coffee $2
Around $4 bucks in gas driving to work.
Before 9 am i spent $17.30 by default. This is automatic. By the days end I'll be minimum $35 in.
Yet people are complaining they got a bare minimum of 50 hours of entertainment (it will be way more) for $15 bucks? You feel you were OWED a raid? No. I'm sorry to break the news to you, but you aren't OWED anything. In the game, or in life.
Take you're imaginary girlfriend to see a movie, two tickets are $25+ all day...for an hour and a half of entertainment
There's a new mode, that every single one of you whining, babbling, cry babies are completely dismissing before you even know what it is. How bout you shut the -blam!- up, man up, grab your balls and stop being such spoiled little self entitled muts to society.
EDIT. Alot of comment are pouring in with people saying things like "if I ordered a steak and potatoes, but got no steak I'd be pissed". Of course I would, because I ORDERED that. Video games are not -blam!-ing made a la carte. They are made by companies, pre determined, and we buy them. We don't customize them before purchase.
EDIT 2. Did anyone stop to think maybe bungie is delaying the raid so people don't jump head first into it, and actually get to enjoy all the new, hard worked content first? Just a thought.
EDIT 3 my favorite one of all. This thread generated a ton of response, way more than I expected. What I like is that the vast majority of the responses are level headed people who agree. There is hope.
FINAL EDIT - I see a lot people turning this into my "spending habits are flawed" if I knew what I was doing with money I wouldn't buy the game type of thread. I hate to burst everyone's bubble, but spending habits and budgeting are RELATIVE to what you earn. Video games like any other leisure are an EARNED RIGHT. I'm 31 now, and from 18 to about 26 I didn't even own a gaming console. Growing up when I lived home with mommy and daddy and did, because it didn't matter. Once I got priorities in order,in put games down for almost 8 years. Now at 31, I've set myself up with a years of hard work that I can sit back and enjoy my leisures comfortably. If i gamed as much in my 20's as I've been in the past 3 months I probably would have lost my job eventually. $30 a day on misc items may be a lot to some people, and I respect that, nor do I look down on you for it. I happen to do well for myself, not because of luck or having things handed to me...but because I busted my ass and made tons of sacrafices. So no, my 20 to 30 bucks daily wasn't the point of this thread. The point was if you had any respect for work, man hours, and a dollar, you'd understand that 15-20 bucks for the content that you're getting is WELL WORTH IT. Don't give "bungie promised me" bs either. Don't be mad at bungie for believing an unofficial leak.

So your saying my blunt = DLC..?

I managed at McDonald's for several years in college. Let me tell you, there's a formula for the level of overreaction inverse to the value of a good or service. People have been killed over $0.99 cheeseburgers.
-
op is a major fag
-
I fully agree. On a good night out I probably spend more money than I have payed for Destiny so far.
-
Expect more to come...like when Xur seels Ghorn. :P
-
I just love keep hearing how all of these people have already put in 700-1000 hours in the game with the content it currently has are gonna all of a sudden "quit" playing destiny. Lmao! Yeah, surrrrrrrrrrrrrrre they are!
-
You have collected over 9000 tears. Well done sir. You speak the truth.
-
This guy speaks the truth that some people need to hear Good job man totally agree
-
The cost of no one buying Comet cause they haven't been getting what the expected=priceless
-
No one knows what the new activities bring and people are already hating on it. I laughter when people threaten a lawsuit for "false advertising". Do they sue McDo when they're Big Mac doesn't look as good as the pictures?
-
It's like buying a pack of smoke for you and your imaginary girlfriend lol
-
Lol this post is great
-
Why pay 15 when it should be free because it was in the original game. $90 for 1/3rd of a game up front then 8 months later get the rest of the game. Normal games cost $60. 15 for house and 20 for TDB so about 90-95 total for a game that should cost 50 at most. I feel bad for the people that bought the higher editions. Dont worry guys keep doing the same bounties and missions to make it feel like it was money well spent.
-
Agreeeee!
-
-
I would agree with you but I feel like most of what is included in HoW should have been in the game from the start which makes the fact that we have to pay any money kind of irritating.
-
Yur from brooklyn bruh! Plenty of money there...
-
Wait, where do you get your lady's coffee for 2$???
-
Ok ok activision will slash the price half, you will be getting half a disc each ok ty
-
Agreed, considering how much entertainment I can get from games, when it comes to a game I like I don't care about the price much. I'm only thrifty when it comes to games that I'm not that interested in.

Edit 4: Stfu
/topic
-
edit 2 is incorrect. Bungie is delaying the raid so it won't be shit like Crotas end. all other points are valid
-
Edited by Belmontmarauder: 4/15/2015 6:46:27 PMI agree with this 300%. I'm like it's literally not even 20 dollars. That's like 6 cups of coffee. Instead of pulling your lazy ass out of bed an hour late because you stayed up binge watching Netflix how about get a good amount of sleep and skip the caffeine for a week or so? And you were never guaranteed a raid. That's what you get for trusting leaked information and taking it as FACTUAL EVIDENCE. And if you don't like it... Don't fūcking play it!! BOOM MIND=BLOWN never thought of that huh?! I got bored of destiny recently but I'm not bitching because it has kept me occupied for quite a number of hours. Instead I'm playing the handsome collection until HoW drops. And I'll be excited to see what new content Bungie is delivering.
-
I'm right there with you, Brother! I, personally, am glad for a variance in content. In fact, I'm quite excited to see what Prison of Elders is all about. If Trials of Osiris and Prison of Elders are good, then I don't need a Raid. Besides, Bungie said we'd get another Raid later this year. These crybabies need to calm their vaginas and at least wait until they actually know anything about Prison of Elders.

Edited by Roughneck: 4/15/2015 3:20:23 PMIt's not about the $15. It's about the bait-n-switch tactics employed. Even if nothing official specifically stated there would be an HoW raid, the fact is that the way both pre-purchased DLCs were packaged insinuated a certain standard format by which they would be released. It's fine if the format is being changed to ADD a new type of event that may be an improvement over JUST a raid, but a raid SHOULD STILL ultimately get included as part of the pre-purchased DLC to remain true to the original DLC release format. They can do whatever they want after these first two DLCs but it's not right to change it now when many of this DLC content was purchased before Day 1 under the guise that a new raid would be included for the base game as well as one each for the two purchased DLCs.

Bruh when u talk shit in the forums it's everyone vs u, ur obviously going to lose lmao btw not everyone has a JOB because guess what it's rated t for teens so 13 year olds can play this too(I'm 18 if u wanted to know)
