So, I popped in Halo 3.

For the first time in a little while. Almost started to tear up. I miss, and will continue to miss the scores from our dear friend, Marty. I'm going to miss the background conflicts telling the story that we don't see. I'm missing so very much the relatable characters, witty lines and established backgrounds. I think for the first time in a while, it really hit home. What's happening to the gaming industry. We're losing our quality just like the cinema and television.

I'm a huge fan of Halo, but part of Halo's charm is that you can't really relate to the characters. I'd also argue that the quality in video games, cinema and T.V is increasing, along side cynicism in the average consumer. Your comment on Marty's work and Halo being good, I agree with.
