It's simple.
They have jumped on the treadmill because they listened to some parts of the customer base and messed with there original work.
Now we have crucible special weapon nerf coming to counter the shotgun epidemic.
I could understand if the devs had a vision and these where steps to get to an endgame.
It's not,they are just staggering from one nerf to the next because of one simple fact they won't admit.
YOU CAN NOT HAVE A TOTALLY FAIR PLAYING FIELD WHEN YOU HAVE SO MANY VARIABLES(items and weapons)
So instead of standing up to some of the community they have blundered into countless wasted hours on game change,that could of been used on pure new development that benefits the game.
1.Stop.
2.evaluate your early mistakes,
3.form a roadmap for your new vision,
4.publish it to community,
5.develop it and deliver it.
Do not get side tracked on irrelevant game change...

Pretty much. I can remember when the very first game I set foot in the Crucible and realizing I had my own weapons and armor equipped and I thought it was really cool that our gear we found in game factored into PvP. I knew I was at a disadvantage in the early games because I had green weapons and half my guardian perks unlocked, but I never once thought it wasn't fair. It just meant I needed to level my character and find my own weapons and I honestly thought it was refreshing and cool to not have all the same generic sh!t equipped. I was really surprised when the nerfs started and to this day I don't think Bungie really understand the multiplayer they created or what it can and should be. They just seem hellbent on turning it into as generic an experience as they can and that's sad.
