Vip kills stopped counting @ 48 . I just killed two..... And didn't get my tier two grimoire. :-( suggestions?

VIP grimoire is for public event target kills, are they not?

The public event VIP only counts towards the Public event Grimoire The VIP patrol mission ( from the beacons) counts for the Patrol Mission grimoire.
