Use the Perfect Balance perk if you don't already. (You just don't have it equipped so I'm assuming you haven't used it much of at all). It will change your life.

Well, considering this "glitch" is something that appears to be a fault on their (Bungie's) end, I'm pretty sure no one is going to get banned for using it. If it's something they feel is "cheating", then it is on them (Bungie) to fix it.
