chief isnt old for a person but definitely old for a person who operares in the field almost all the time, the guy is 46 or 47 by the end of halo 4

physically he would be around there but hes still 47 or so years old

Cryo sleep doesn't stop time you know. He's still 47 years old. Cryo sleep only slowed his body from aging.
