Are shotguns ruining PvP?
I really think this is the only shooting game that consists of only 6v6 head to head shotgun warefare. Its dumb. Usually a game with guns you use primaries first hense the name.. I just really think Bungie is sucking the big one for making shotguns so OP. Crucible needs the biggest look at in terms of an update after the release of the next [i]expansion is complete.
Edit: Just a thought, what if shotguns had their own ammo crates only in crucible? They could be Red ammo crates that spawn at 85% of the speed Special ammo crates spawn, and killing players would drop a small amount of shotgun ammo (red) instead of special ammo if you have a shotgun equipped. Further more that would decrease that insanely accessability to shotgun ammo, which is literally impossible to run out of if your good.[/i]

1 ReplyThe only real problem is special Ammo is everywhere at all times.. In a recent game I spawned literately next to a box of special ammo, ran for 4 seconds and there was another. Each box even gives you two magazines worth of ammo. Not to mention they are on a 10 second timer themselves. Basically in the time it takes you to pick up the ammo, die, and respawn the boxes have already regenerated. I've said it dozens of times now, but they either need to remove starting special ammo or increase the time it takes for the boxes to refill. Either way it doesn't matter though, they look at the most used weapons and why and pretty much nerf them based on that and that is why shotguns have gotten two fall off damage nerfs since release.
