No you do the same. Even if we went into level 30 VoG as a level 50 and still use a 300 Attack Vision of Confluence we would do the same damage as a level 30 shooting that same gun. Armor defense and our weapon attack is the only true factor. Level is only a factor when the enemy is above you then the nerf modifiers play a roll. So when you think of defense a level 31 who is on the verge of being a 32 will take almost the same amount of damage as a 32.
