Right? Hearing lower level characters reactions when they get stuff is amazing. The best part of it. Especially in VoG hard, when Fatebringer drops to someone for the first time.. the other day. I was helping a friend with 2 32s and a 29, who didn't have a gjallarhorn. And it dropped after Deathsinger normal when they were on their 29. They were SO excited. I don't have a gally yet... sadly.. but I'm glad I can say I helped someone get theirs in a 2 person raid. CE normal though... its a -blam!-ing joke. It's just an extended strike, barely even extended.

  • I don't really get to help people all too often because I usually either have school sports or homework during weekdays. By the weekends, most of my friends are usually done with the raids. I would try getting randoms but my friends list is pretty big as it is.

  • I don't get to help too often anymore either. Just people I know who have done the raids usually, but I'm willing to help new players, there just aren't that many new players anymore.

  • Two of my friends got Destiny around Christmas so I get to try to get them into raid groups. Kind of hard when the one of my two main raid groups that gets kind of impatient with inexperienced players (from lack of being kept in a raid group) is on when they are on

  • Well.. I got it at Christmas as well.. I was 30 in a couple days. 31 in a couple after that. I got the DLC about a month ago.. within a couple days, was 32 on 2 characters. Already done the raids enough to know most strats, I havent been taught a new strategy in like forever.

  • I'm a day one-er but got into raiding a month or two late due to lack of friends on Destiny. The Grind to level 30 pre DLC was so much harder than getting to level 32

  • Yeah i know. My brother is a day one casual.. so I'm higher level than him on all 3 characters. But he told me about the grind to level 30. Seems much harder than grinding to level 32.

  • I got to level 30 on 1 character a week or two before the DLC drops, only because I got light level 30 gauntlets from Iron Banner.
