Hello!
Bungie doesn't discuss or overturn any bans. Please be sure that this is a ban and not a restriction. A ban is permanent, a restriction is temporary.
Additionally, here's a list of what actions warrant a restriction or ban.
Connecting to the Destiny game service with any of the following:
-Modified game software
-Modified game assets
-Modified console hardware
-Modified console firmware
-Using an external program to modify the operation of the Destiny game software (trainer or mod)
-Using an external program or device to automate gameplay or circumvent idle detection
-Modification or interruption of Destiny network traffic with intent to disrupt other players’ experiences or to gain advantage in the game
-Intentionally deriving gameplay benefit from another user’s behavior in the above categories
-Unauthorized access to Destiny software or downloadable content (game piracy)
-Impersonating a Bungie, Microsoft, Sony, or Activision employee
If you've done any of these, action will be taken against your account.
Bungie's entire banning policy can be found in the link below.

Thanks for the quick reply. i've read the reasons. but what do i do if i haven't done any of those actions? i have been wrongly banned, and you're telling me they won't talk about it? what do i do?
-
There must've been something that you did that breached the policy. Pulling another quote from the policy.
There are no options to dispute or overturn account restrictions or bans. Permanent account bans are only implemented with rigorous checking to ensure that the innocent are not punished alongside the guilty. There will be no responses to any communication from this process. We take actions to preserve the experience of all our Destiny players, and do not take account restrictions lightly. You are responsible for your online account and console hardware, and any actions taken in the world of Destiny, so please be careful who you allow to access your Destiny account. If a friend or relative’s actions put you into this position, please take it up with them.
I'm very sorry, but there's nothing you can do.

Well that sucks.... all my progress down the toilet.. gonna delete destiny now.. well thanks anyway for the reply... you've been helpful.
-
It's an unfortunate situation, just to clarify though, does it mention a temporary restriction or permanent ban?

Edited by FireMafiA: 3/25/2015 1:59:09 AMIt said my device is banned, that's all i know. i took a picture with my phone so you can see.
-
Geez, unfortunately, those are the rules in place. I'm very sorry.
-
well thanks again bro for trying to help. even though i got nowhere with understanding the Exact reason you've been very helpful

Edited by Mr Mulberry: 3/25/2015 2:13:26 AMI agree with that much. By the message that the game gives you, could you ensure that your console hasn't been modified in any way? Did you purchase a used console? I'd also suggest you try to play destiny on a different console to determine whether your account or console is banned.
-
I bought my console brand new from Gamestop. the only thing that has been modified about the console is the HDD storage, i swap out the old one for a 500GB Hard drive for more space. And i don't have a different console to try logging into.
-
What console are you on? You could make a free account and try to see if it can access destiny.
-
i asked my brother to log into my account on his ps3 and he can play on it, but i can't play on my console
-
Yep, your console banned. Simply put, you'll have to get a new console if you want to continue to play destiny. Once again, I'm sorry for the inconvenience.
-
dammit.. well thanks
