I just noticed Destiny is 76 on metacritic....

How did Bungie go down from being a top tier game developer to this.... even the user rating is 6/10... http://www.metacritic.com/game/playstation-4/destiny How much would YOU rate Destiny?? To me this game is a 6/10 mainly due to how addictive it is to play with others in strikes and raids... everything else needs MAJOR improvements and where is that story at? but i did get my money's worth after 500ish hours

A honest rating for me would be 5/10 for the entirety of the game. For the most part the game is stable, functional and the design is great. The biggest negative is the lack of the content and the heavy reliance of grinding to progress. But the worse offense about grinding is that Bungie/Activision actively decided to play on RNG gamble grind, which plays to the addictive tendency to people who are more susceptible to addiction. This is a malicious form of grind and I resent Bungie for being active proponents of this system in order to keep their product alive for longer. To be fair, the gunplay is like a solid 8/9 out of 10. The gunplay carries this game alone. If this game didn't have such exceptional gunplay, it would be a 3/10 for sure. That is what lets it get away with being repetitive beyond that, there is very little substance to this game. No story, no content, no real prospect that the studio really wants to 'wow' the community. Destiny was ambitious for sure, but it left everyone with the discontentment of seeing the potential of how amazing this game could be, without really actually letting us play and experience how amazing Destiny would have been, had it lived up to it potential [and I'm not referring to the marketing hype]. I'm just talking about completing the base level development of the game with the original planned story and content/mechanics/modes. [Even at a halfway point at the very least, anything less than that, which is what we got, is disrespectful to the consumers/fans]
