If you're comparing mortal combat, I'm assuming your talking PvE, at least I hope you are cuz that's the only way to talk about this, you literally fight lower level enemies till you get to the final boss. Get some cool stuff along the way and unlock content.
But holy shit does Skyrim and Evolve do the same thing! Kill all the lower level things. Get to the final boss. Kill boss. Rinse and repeat.
Never played GTA, Walking Dead and some of the other games you're talking about cuz I forgot them and there is no back button without deleting my comment.

There aren't any bosses in Evolve. In Mortal Kombat you fight one fighter or a tag team. Then you fight someone who is a badass who will wreak you. I don't remember that much about Skyrim. I haven't played it for awhile.

My point is, (almost) every game follows the pattern you just described: Use ghost (get through tiny obstruction) Bad guy waves (defeat the lower levels) Final boss (the game hardest point of activity) If is GTA and/or Walking Dead are your "go-to-games" then obviously you're not gunna like Destiny. But to say you don't like it for content that other games carry, dispite the extremely small differences, is just you're own unsupported opinion.

Edited by STD Carrier Form: 3/24/2015 2:26:21 AMDestiny has little story and is repetitive. Other games give us some interesting enemies to fight and a good story. The Fallen are pushovers. Just like the rest of the bad guys in the game. It's not even fun I'm getting tired and can't think right now. Good night.

Then go do the raids. At least Destiny doesn't have a god mode where everything else in the game becomes pointless. Destiny is one of the few console games that manages to accomplish this.

Edited by STD Carrier Form: 3/24/2015 9:27:22 AMDestiny is just plain boring for me for some reason. Other games like Halo are still fun to play even after 5 years. If Destiny had a story and some smart unpredictable enemies to fight then it might be good.
