Slowly sitting up I am wracked with pain, but sane enough to know what to do. Reaching instead my satchel I pull out the rune that is controlling Vex and begin to speak into it in the language and custom the rune was cast in. The rune grows warm in my hands. I understand now and hope.

Yeah I can't exactly die when I do I burn away into ashes and I have to wait a good amount of time before I can come back or someone can gather my ashes and summon me

Thanks I changed the "spell" this emanates on Vex. It shouldn't take long before he is back to normal again. This thing was meant to protect something very dangerous, or at least protect us from it.
