The Plot thickens! Really exited to see what the Campaign has to offer. If Halo 4's was any indication, we're in for a good time.

  • It was the best campaign in the series dude. It connects you to the chief personally. Not to mention fighting the forerunner was a breath of fresh air.

  • Making Chief a bit more human than a mindless soldier in Halo 4 was a good move but imo it wasn't presented very well. Some of Chiefs scenes and dialogue was very cringe worthy along with Cortanas. In the end I actually didn't care for Chief nor Cortana. I also didn't like what they did regarding the forerunners technology and capabilities. I hate the whole "digitizing humans and transferring them into robotic bodies and enslaving them" thing. There was too much of a big jump from Halo 3 to Halo 4. Yes Halo 3's ending was beginning to shift things towards the forerunners (which is good) but once Halo 4 came along this chaotic story just jumped out of no where. We have this maniac forerunner the Didact hell bent on destroying humanity, Humans actually had a war with the the flood, then we realize Didacts motives in the game due to how the humans handled the flood, the Promethans being composed ancient humans, the Librarian popping up but it was some kind of artificial version. Imo this was too much , Halo 4's story really felt unnatural to the series. It was a random chaotic mess. To me it doesn't fit in with Halo, it seems like a different game at some parts. Also telling the important parts of the story through terminals was a bad move, and having to leave the actual game to watch them made it worse. I don't mean to be harsh and I'm not just hating on it for the sake of it that's just how I personally feel about it.

  • Some of Chiefs lines being cringe worthy is actually very in line with the cannon. The spartans are all socially awkeward when it comes to expression and feelings, its a bi-product of their training and indoctronation.

  • Well I personally loved everything about it. Except multiplayer.
