In fact, I truly understand that it's a loss of life. You spend hundreds of hours of your life you will never get back on it and then with the x or square button being held... Those hours are gone. I would quit if it was done to me tbh. I would run you through raids every week to help you in all honesty but we are on two different consoles. But I understand not wanting to go I through another 500+ hours into a game to get the same stuff you should have never lost. I'm deeply sorry for your loss. In your free time when you have NOTHING better to do, show your son how to level to 20 or you do it. Only do all this when you have some time and don't grind like you previously did because that will be depressing. Just okay 2-3 hours a day. Once he's 20 teach him how to do strikes and keep 21 light blue armor. Buy a legendary piece with marks and get the Eris legendary arms and you are up to two legendary pieces in a week. Run vaults and have your son level another two characters, all the same race so you can switch armor in between so you can do 3 raids a week once they all are 20. And after that point only get on enough each week to do weekly and nightfall and raids. 7 days each week to do all that.. You can just play about 2-3 hours a day yet again. By the time house of wolves comes out, you will have a decent amount of gear or all if you are really lucky. Tl;dr No one will probably read all of that but I hope you do at least read the above paragraph and this one. (Continuing from above paragraph) Think about it, it won't be that bad if you only do it when you really have nothing better to do. Why not play some destiny. Level to 20 slowly doing bounties or something. Tell those friends you mentioned previously to boost you in story. If they are friends they will help. I got buddies who help me.
