Day one player: Majority of Exotic weapons: Shards Majority of Exotic armour: Shards Any vendor light 33 armour: Shards unless good stat roll Most vendor weapons: Energy unless ideal upgrades Purple Engrams:a chance for shards or something to shard, at least I get to level Rahool a bit Strange coins: I already have heavy ammo thanks Ships: Not even shards Sparrows: Worse than ships There are no "good" rewards apart from those last missing exotics, which Xur will sell the week after they drop for me. Unless they could come up with absolutely unique rewards, the Nightfall as an endgame activity is more about satisfaction, skill & completionism than it is about rewards. I would like unique shaders that only rarely drop, and only drop from nightfall strikes... something to show off with that is super super rare and would really be surprising to get.
