• Can you please just read this. A book. IS. NOT. EVIDENCE. A book full of assumptions and stories claiming it's true is not true. That is stupid. And when has someone ever "spoken" to god? I can't think of any Christian whom I've met whose ever spoken to god. The only people who can hear god are either lying or mentally ill.

 •
The bible? Or better yet ask God. (If it helps His name is Jesus Christ)
God isn't Jesus. If you were seriously Christian, you'd know that minor detail. He's the son of God, his physical embodiment. Also, your idea of evolution isn't even near what evolution is. You don't have a clue what it is.

 • That's not true, if you understood the Trinity canon, you'd know that God/The Father, God/The Son, and God/The Holy Spirit are three parts of One Being. It's the same way we have a body, soul, and spirit. The parts of one being. Jesus had to be God AND Man in order to fulfill Old Testament prophesy about the Messiah.

 • Let's use the analogy of water. Azrael is vapour Jesus is ice God is water They're the same thing, but they've different properties and potentials which make them different, but closely linked things. Simple

 • I can agree with that analogy to a degree. One I've always used is the egg. An egg has a shell, the albumen (white), and yolk. Three separate parts of one thing. To answer your other question, there's no way to know. There are Christian Jews and Christian Arabs. There are also Muslim Americans and Jews practicing Judaism in America.

 •
You do realize for something to evolve it's DNA has to change completely right? DNA cannot change without being manipulated by humans, but it can gain endurance to certain things like temperature or pain. Fish didn't form from atoms and fish didn't turn to monkeys and monkeys didn't turn to people. If atoms just collided and built up you'd get some pretty ugly crap that's not living.
For something to evolve, it's DNA doesn't have to change completely and DNA doesn't gain endurance or pain tolerance, m8. That's ridiculous. And saying DNA can't change without man is also false seeing as species evolve naturally over time in an observable way. Fruit flies and small, quickly reproducing animals evolve like this by themselves. Really, fish didn't form from atoms? So what are they made of, sparkles and unicorns? Have you ever heard of carbon bonding, m8? It's the "cluster of atoms" that are themselves observable, both directly and indirectly, and build the base of EVERY LIVING ORGANISM

 • Lolol God created every animal individually. If people evolved from monkeys then why are there still monkey and if monkeys came from fish why are there fish and where did those fish come from? Atoms didn't randomly combine because a non living object cannot live no matter what unless life is GIVEN to it.

 • An atom is not alive. That isn't even what we're talking about. It's simply a material, a compound. Monkeys are cousins, no what we evolved from. They, along with all the other primates come from a common ancestor. Anyone who understands evolution would know that.

 • All DNA is different and it is constantly changing every living thing evolved from something else just like humans evolved from apes I dont know what your not getting.

 • Because the monkeys are suited to their environment. They haven't had the new to change. However, when humans started evolving, they needed to change. We started moving upright, and so our needs changed. We developed bigger and better brains, learned how to use tools, cook our food, tame animals. We evolved to suit our ever changing needs. I can see where your coming from, it does seen confusing. However, it is better to look at science and religion not as 2 completely separate roads, but as 2 roads that eventually merge into one. When you start looking at it, science and religion need each other. There are to many loop holes and "plot twists" if you only look towards religion, and vice versa with science. However, if you combine them, it starts to come together. Science and religion prove each other.

 • I do agree to a point that science and religion go together. But evolution is never involved. If God said so, it happened.

 • Genesis 1:1-31 NLT In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth. The earth was formless and empty, and darkness covered the deep waters. And the Spirit of God was hovering over the surface of the waters. Then God said, “Let there be light,” and there was light. And God saw that the light was good. Then he separated the light from the darkness. God called the light “day” and the darkness “night.” And evening passed and morning came, marking the first day. Then God said, “Let there be a space between the waters, to separate the waters of the heavens from the waters of the earth.” And that is what happened. God made this space to separate the waters of the earth from the waters of the heavens. God called the space “sky.” And evening passed and morning came, marking the second day. Then God said, “Let the waters beneath the sky flow together into one place, so dry ground may appear.” And that is what happened. God called the dry ground “land” and the waters “seas.” And God saw that it was good. Then God said, “Let the land sprout with vegetation—every sort of seed-bearing plant, and trees that grow seed-bearing fruit. These seeds will then produce the kinds of plants and trees from which they came.” And that is what happened. The land produced vegetation—all sorts of seed-bearing plants, and trees with seed-bearing fruit. Their seeds produced plants and trees of the same kind. And God saw that it was good. And evening passed and morning came, marking the third day. Then God said, “Let lights appear in the sky to separate the day from the night. Let them be signs to mark the seasons, days, and years. Let these lights in the sky shine down on the earth.” And that is what happened. God made two great lights—the larger one to govern the day, and the smaller one to govern the night. He also made the stars. God set these lights in the sky to light the earth, to govern the day and night, and to separate the light from the darkness. And God saw that it was good. And evening passed and morning came, marking the fourth day. Then God said, “Let the waters swarm with fish and other life. Let the skies be filled with birds of every kind.” So God created great sea creatures and every living thing that scurries and swarms in the water, and every sort of bird—each producing offspring of the same kind. And God saw that it was good. Then God blessed them, saying, “Be fruitful and multiply. Let the fish fill the seas, and let the birds multiply on the earth.” And evening passed and morning came, marking the fifth day. Then God said, “Let the earth produce every sort of animal, each producing offspring of the same kind—livestock, small animals that scurry along the ground, and wild animals.” And that is what happened. God made all sorts of wild animals, livestock, and small animals, each able to produce offspring of the same kind. And God saw that it was good. Then God said, “Let us make human beings in our image, to be like us. They will reign over the fish in the sea, the birds in the sky, the livestock, all the wild animals on the earth, and the small animals that scurry along the ground.” So God created human beings in his own image. In the image of God he created them; male and female he created them. Then God blessed them and said, “Be fruitful and multiply. Fill the earth and govern it. Reign over the fish in the sea, the birds in the sky, and all the animals that scurry along the ground.” Then God said, “Look! I have given you every seed-bearing plant throughout the earth and all the fruit trees for your food. And I have given every green plant as food for all the wild animals, the birds in the sky, and the small animals that scurry along the ground—everything that has life.” And that is what happened. Then God looked over all he had made, and he saw that it was very good! And evening passed and morning came, marking the sixth day.

 • God gets a lot of blame for what mankind chose. God created a perfect world and gave it to man to rule over. Man chose to disobey the one rule that God gave to man, and so sin and corruption entered the world. Disobedience spawned from pride and thus imperfection, sickness, disease, sinful natures, and death entered the world. God didn't want bad things to happen to us, can He involve himself to prevent them, sure He could. But we chose to have a choice. We chose poorly, and are reaping the consequences of those choices.

 • We live in a fallen world, Thor. Bad things happen to believers and non-believers alike. The difference is how we respond to and deal with them when they occur. I believe that the promises that God makes in the Bible help me through this life. I have to follow his commandments and instructions in order to receive His help. I choose to follow Christ's instructions. The Abrahamic Covenant is based on a lot of "If you'll do this, then God will do that for you". It's predicated on me moving towards God first though. Once again, our choice.

 • His perfect world included evil talking snakes. How ironic is it that if you eat from the
tree of knowledge
, cause knowledge is the worst thing, either that or its the biggest threat to your beliefs, knowing the truth.

 • You're conveniently leaving out the full name. It was the Tree of the Knowledge of Good and Evil. Can't have one without the other. We could have lived in God's paradise or live in a world where we choose between good and evil. Satan(the talking snake), tempted Eve and then Eve convinced Adam to disobey God. Satan's sin was pride as well, and since fell, he couldn't stand for God's favorite creation to be in good standing. So he influenced Eve to disobey and then Adam followed suit. Once again, God nor Satan can make us do anything. We choose to follow one or the other. Everything comes down to our choices.
