The theory is a sound theory. I believe that is truly possible that this is how life propagated on earth. However, that doesn't mean it's "true" how can a theory be true? If it was proven true then it wouldn't be called a theory. The main thing I'm waiting on is the discovery of a lot of missing links. I know we have unearthed the bones and remains of a lot of semi human creatures. Why aren't there any alive today? Chimpanzees exist, apes exist, why don't we see anything alive today that is in between chimps and humans? Humankind has so far never witnessed the creation of a new species as a result of evolution. Since we only live to be around 80 years old we might not develop that perspective.

  • A scientific theory is a proven hypothesis backed by facts, laws, and observations. I.E. Gravitational theory, Cell Theory, Atomic Theory, Theory of evolution, Theory of relativity etc. If you are confused about chimps and humans than you do not understand evolution. We have observed direct creation of a new species in fruitflies. Also ring species. DNA alone prooves using chromosome 2 in the human genome that we did share a common ancestor with apes and bonobos. You can choose to believe this or not, but it is a fact.

Um. A scientific "theory" has been observed and documented to follow it's description or hypothesis. You know, like the Theory of Relativity. You know that ones observably true at least don't you? Don't get confused over the use of the word theory. Before theory comes study and observation. Before that comes the idea. Your use of the word theory should be replaced with the word idea. And would still be wrong. Edit for the sake of harmony - other than that, your post isn't entirely without merit. :)
