I got into a long conversation with my buddy who mains a warlock. First off I'll state, I've had all 3 classes at 32. I deleted my warlock because I don't like it, that's a simple matter of opinion. What we theorize, is that warlocks have abilities that make it easy for anyone to be good with them. Whereas to be good with a hunter, you require skill. This, makes the warlocks angry when they meet a hunter better than them, which results in flamefests. But yes, hunters are stuck up :)

  • I think of it this way: in Teamfortress 2, the Soldier class is literally described as "a good class for beginners and easy to play." That doesn't mean that they're a Noob class. There are tons of good Soldier players, same goes for Warlocks. You could say that Self Res is a crutch, but it's not. It's an ability that balances out the class, because it makes up for Glide and crappy looking armor.
