Destiny has much better moment to moment gameplay. The feel of character movement is top quality. Player customization is also much more interesting. Halo has a better assortment of game modes, a better story(although perhaps not a better universe, we'll give Destiny some time), less weapons but the oldies are certainly the goodies, and is more shenanigan-prone which is always fun. Also, the character development in Halo is top quality. Truthfully, I wish Destiny was more like Halo, but it's not. I just really wanted them to knock the story out of the park. Too bad.
