Possible solution to Matchmaking Debate???

So, here is my Idea. The Destiny community has been pretty torn up about Matchmaking lately. Ever since 1.1.1 it's been blown out of proportion. Half of us want matchmaking for the weekly because they don't always have people online to play with, and half of us are pretty miffed that we lost the capability to solo them. On top of that, there are a lot of people asking to have matchmaking introduced into raids for the same reason. I personally don't want that because that would again prevent those of us that enjoy solo attempting raids, because we are running out of content that challenges us. But there may be a solution, but i'm not sure if the games code would allow it... The idea is to have a choice. That's right, a choice. We should have a system that has matchmaking for everything, including raids, nightfalls, weekly's, etc. but when you start the activity you are presented with a choice between matchmaking or solo. What do you guys think? And Bungie.... if you see this, is this at all a possibility? Let me know what you think.

  • Holy sh!+. Nobody has ever suggested this. Actually, there have been several long discussion threads about this. It eventually dies out because Bungie never responds and a bunch of idiots start threads whining about Nerf this or that, or wanting a weapon (Gjallarhorn!), or a dumb poll about what Xur might bring next... It just gets pushed down beneath all the garbage, just like your thread will. But for the record, I am with you. Mandatory is a bad word, especially paired with Matchmaking.
