Please. I'd pay $100 for a gjallarhorn.
I think pay for play is a terrible idea. But if they implemented it, I'd buy it.
And for those that say that's stupid, I have money, but not time. $100 is less than a nice dinner for two. So yeah, I would would pay that much.

But here's the thing about a free market, things happen and its driven by the consumer. I'm not sure your view of a socialists gaming community would really work. And I'm not rich. Far from it. I worked very hard to create a good career, and my wife worked even harder for her better career.

I agree. I hate it. I especially hate the lottery box system they used in mass effect 3 multiplayer. I don't even think cosmetic items for pay is a good idea. On the other hand, a completely random, off any enemy in the game, RNG system seems kind of poor to me also. They should have at least made tokens so you could, for instance, turn in a heavy token for your choice of heavy weapons.

I know the feeling. Went out to dinner last night and spent 130$ on a anniversary meal. Well worth it though. I don't know about 100$ for a gjallahorn though. I feel like if I did that it would drop like 10 minutes later for me.
