You didn't earn yours. You just got lucky. There is no such thing as earning anything here on destiny unless you buy it from any vendors. INCLUDING Xûr. To get anything they have, you have to work for them and get special things needed such as glimmer, marks, strange coins, motes of light, etc. everybody who says they earned all their exotics from raids or the Nightfall just were lucky. It is all random so deal with it scrub. It's all in the favor of the RNG. There is nothing else to it.

How did you earn it? You played a game and was randomly given an item for doing so. That is the same as someone running the weekly on 30 to collect max coins and buying it. This whole I earned it crap is getting old. Technically the only way to earn something in destiny is through an exotic bounty because there are steps to take to earning it.

Once upon a time... there was a game, with a community divided into two halves. On one side, were the 'earners', the self proclaimed 'true wielders of the doodads'. This side was known for their effective strategy of playing a game of crucible, rather poorly, might I say, and getting some sort of interesting gizmo. The other side was known as... the 'not earners'; individuals scorned by the earners for being 'undeserving' of the thingamabobs. This side was known for saving up these weird, vibrating coins that looked like cheap knock-offs and giving them to a shifty fellow with worms in his hood for other odd gubbins. There were also these peculiar baubles composed of light, but nobody cares about those. These halves would war over who really deserved these doohickeys, and many tears stained the battlefield. Some say they tasted delicious...

I received 3 red deaths prior to today. I would say I was lucky/earned them. Also I would say everyone who buys it today from Xur is lucky/earned it. Anyone else think only children/cry babies make these posts on Xur days? Grow up...

RNG does not equal "earning," garbage players get awarded exotics all the time, ever play crucible? Did the dude that finished dead last and scored a Red Death earn his more than someone who played twice as long and bought one when it was available because it wouldn't drop? You're exactly why this community is horrendous, great game but man are a lot of its players incredibly stupid, selfish and insecure.

You're a douche. Who gives a sh!t how you got any weapon. Takes longer to save up 20+ coins than it does to do a random strike or crucible and get it. Random drops don't make you good scrub.
