I actually am not a fan of hawkmoon. It's great don't get me wrong, but I still prefer my NM handcannon or fatebringer just because of aiming reasons. I find HM to be really hard to aim/ see when firing

Edited by sage_dastullo: 3/12/2015 7:16:33 AMI get you. Red Hand IX (New Monarchy Hand Cannon) has the highest aim assist across all Hand Cannons. Stats are like this: Red Hand IX: 89 Hawkmoon: 50 Thorn: 60 The Last Word: 50 Fatebringer: 61 Word of Crota: 74 The higher that number is, the more the crosshairs will slow down while over an enemy. That's in both PVE and PVP. So Red Hand essentially helps you the most. Before I had Hawkmoon, I always played on a 5 sensitivity and I solely ran Fatebringer for everything, including PVP. Now when I got my Hawkmoon, I found it so hard to stay on enemies when they were strafing. I was overshooting alot. So I dropped my sensitivity to 4. And after about 150 games with Hawkmoon, my KD jumped form 1.7+ - 1.9+. Why? Because no gun can keep up if you're hitting your crits. On 1v1s, I will 95+ of all encounters, and that's including against snipers. Thorn, TLW, Vex Mythoclast all bend over for Hawkmoon. I've been looking to get Red Hand for the longest time, but it has never dropped for me. I really want to see how such a high aim assist helps out.

Take ur time Inbetween shots in hawkmoon! Helps a lot

It helps somewhat. But after you get your ADS reddot on their head, fire as fast as it fires. I only take my time, to set up for a second shot if the enemy is in a hard position to land a crit. For example, their backways. I find hitting a headshot backways is a lot harder.
