Just thought I would share this nugget with everyone who hasn't heard about this bs. Comcast broadcasts a second wifi signal through your Comcast router/ modem that can be used by anyone who has a comcast password and is within range of your router. I disabled the feature on my Comcast router a few weeks back and I noticed a significant decrease in data use and an increase in Internet speed. It is set "on" by default. You will see an "xfinity wifi" in your available networks. To disable you need your Comcast email and password. Sign in and go to wifi settings. It's the only option you can select. Opt out.
