*Facepalm,* That's exactly the point, most of them aren't dead, the civil rights movement officially ended what in the early 70's ,what you think all the racist white people taking their kids to watch lynchings suddenly all just saw the light, you think all the black folks that had to live through such times suddenly just forgot, you think a biased system decades in the making suddenly just went poof, don't be stupid and naive, worse it's -blam!-ing patronizing to black people who still have to deal with the effects of such a -blam!-ed up system today. Things like disproportionate arrests and sentencing, racial profiling, employment bias, miss me with all your post racial America bullshit. And no it would be like you hating the government for all the bullshit native Americans still go through today as a biased of a flawed system centuries in the making.
