I'm tired of people of people suggesting movie stars who have barely done any video-game voice work. That was the problem with Dinklage.

I think that was less of an acting issue and more of a creative direction thing.

Yep! His lines seemed written half assed so he gave them the same quality in the voice acting. If an actor isn't sold on the part they may not give it everything they have.
