What causes tension between Hunters and Warlocks??
I've seen the 'floofing about' and 'we taught them to blink' statements on Warlock gear but is there more stuff in the Grimoire? Also, even without the grimoire, I see alot of back and forth between Warlocks and Hunters on a daily basis. Are Warlocks just jealous nerds, are Hunters just stuck up cool kids?
Edit 1: It's funny how the Titans just sit back with popcorn watching all this go down.
Edit 2: I'm seeing claims of sexual tension, very interesting stuff!

Edit 9 - MalPen is the only Warlock allowed to eat popcorn with the Titans...he brought beer.
Edit 10 - It has been speculated that the 'squishy' floofy Warlocks are just pretending to be friends with the Titans just so they can use them as muscle against the Hunters.....the plot thickens

1 ReplyTbh I think the tables have turned...if anything im seeing alot of infighting between hunters and titans now ( I main a titan ) and warlocks are there saying "take a chill pill guys! Damn!" Lol

Hunters and Warlocks fight a lot bc they were considered the better pvp classes. So they would argue about how OP they are. The only thing that I think the titans were ripped on was fist of panic and shoulder charge during y1. Just a long rivalry 😊

13 RepliesAtleast us warlocks were able to defeat ahamkara. But now that we trained hunters and Titans. Hunters were next to defeat him. Warlocks were also the first guardians and wield the strongest light. (Said on grimmore cards, not word for word)

Its sexual tension. The Warlock wants to bone the Hunter, and the Hunter wants to bone the Warlock, but they're both too proud to admit it. And thus, they resort to petty infighting.

It's with the blink but I think I've read a grimoire were it says titans were the first guardians to be created and then there was hunters then warlocks so not sure If hunters taught warlocks how to blink or the other way?

3 RepliesAs a hunter main I like all classes it's just that hunter suits my play style better than the others and I think I figured out why there is a rivalry just from something I've noticed about how I play [spoiler]Hunter and warlock are on opposite ends of the play styles for most players and Titan is in the middle my personal play style is sit back and snipe and if anything gets to close backtrack and spray with my primary the hunters agility compliments this Warlocks at least what I have noticed is jump out fire quick shots at the target and then take cover the warlocks recovery compliments this And Titans are the bullet sponges who can be right in the middle of the action and survive a little longer than the other classes because of there high armor [/spoiler] Long story short there are different play styles and classes that work best for those play styles Warlock and hunter play styles don't mix very well

1 ReplyPersonally I always thought it was the titans and hunters that had a thing going, since they're like polar opposites... but yeah I guess the lore says otherwise. As a hunter, whenever I see a warlock in crucible and get pissed it's because they Nova bomb me right out of my super. Titans however, I have beef with. Fist of panics all around the board and there's nothing my poor squishy hunter can do. Big lumbering gorillas if you ask me ;)

He just happened to be john. Jacob and juliet would secretly go out to the tower and watch the sunset or go on patrols without john knowing. One day during one of their patrol, a titan (jolly) who was acquaintance of john see Juliet and Jacob sparrowing through the rocket yard. You see jolly have always been jealous of the friendship Jacob and John had. He see this as an opportunity for him to become a better friend. He approaches John one day and warned him about the Jacob and Juliet. Of course John didn't believe jolly. So jolly took John to where he last saw the couple. There John witness his best friend and his love interest holding hands. John confronted Jacob. The couple tried to explain that they didn't mean to hurt him. Out of rage, John blast Jacob with with a nova bomb. But at last second Juliet stepped in front of Jacob and took the full blast of the nova bomb. She died instantly. John blamed jacob for her death. Jacob took Juliet body and went invisible and carry her off to bury her. Since then hunters and warlocks became enemies. True story because Im Jolly. Me and Jacob are good buds now.

The hunter is the one that gains Intel while the warlocks gain knowledge. Not sure if it counts but it seems like an argument could erupt over attacking something

Hunter cuts the yummy steak. A fly starts whizzing around. Warlock tries to swat the fly outta hunter face because warlock loves hunter with all warlock heart. Warlock accidentally force push slap thing whatever's the yummy steak off the table. Hunter cry. Warlock try to comfort hunter put accidentally force push him away. Hunter falls.
