No one even said anything about god, were talking about scientific theories. See bullet point 7: patient is emotionally over invested in the idea and it overwhelms other elements of their psyche. Histrionic displays such as these are exactly why religious people shouldn't be involving themselves in adult discussions. This is why only a few percent of the academy of sciences believe in god. Religious people are not welcome in the upper echelons of the scientific world, not that they'd have the ability to make it there anyway.
