For those who don't believe in evolution...
It really isn't a debate, evolution is a fact. Its not subject to belief or disbelief, its reality. A scientific theory is a proven hypothesis. Evolution is a theory, just like Gravity, and Cells are "just a theory". Micro and Macro evolution are fake concepts invented by creationists in order to debunk it. Clearly, that did not work. Evolution has been directly observed in animals with short lifespans like fruit flies. If you are going to reject direct, peer reviewed observation, yet trust in the bible, or the Qur'an or any holy book. You are creating a double standard. The burden of proof is on us, and it has been met time and time again.

Edit: I'm gonna rewrite this post as I don't like the message it is portraying and some of the feedback it has received. I just don't personally like how it was wriited and the circumstances it was written in check back in a couple hours for the new one.

8 RepliesIt's not proven, so it isn't a fact. It is a scientific theory though and is generally accepted as the best explanation in the scientific community. Still though, not a proven fact.

After all the studies I've done on Evolution and Darwinism, I've never found any Concrete indisputable fact that proves evolution to be scientific fact. No one was there in the very beginning so how do we know? Methods like carbon-14 dating have been proven to be flawed and fossils don't come with tiny tags on them saying 'hey I'm 15 million years old and I'm an ancestor of a horse!' I understand the meaning of the term Theory when it is used in science, but the difference between The theory of evolution and the theory of gravity is that the theory of gravity can be easily proven simply by living your life. Dropping something is enough to prove to another person that gravity exists. However, it's very different with Evolution. There is no easy way to prove that evolution is fact. Even Darwin's brilliant theory of natural selection doesn't tell me enough. The real question here is 'where did everything come from?' Or 'why are we here?' I don't think anybody can answer those questions. If we really did come from a single-celled first organism, where did that come from? And where did that that created that come from? Well nobody knows. And that's why I'm turning to Christianity for answers, and honestly I'm finding their answers to things much more satisfying than atheism's answers to things. My favorite theory is the theory of intelligent design (look it up) so just don't go all Richard Dawkins on me, I tried to write this as simple as possible as to not stir up controversey and confusion. Thanks for reading Edit: honestly it takes more faith to believe in an unknown event that started all life then it does to believe in a magic man in the sky :)

I don't even understand it. Like seriously guys I'm almost positive all you got your stuff from Wikipedia or something and paraphrased it into something that sounds really smart but you have no idea what it means. Like every religion out there. There are no facts supporting God, or whatever your religion may be or worship. this is just my opinion tho.
