Competitive Rules for Clans

For all of you that take the game seriously in PvP, this is the "Gunskill" play type that we enable for a different and balanced feeling and wanna try something different Rules- No Heavy No Supers No Pocket Infinity No Final Round (Snipers Only) No Thorn (DoT effect is banned) No Invisibility effects Blink is debatable (although usually not allowed, it's up to the players vote) With setting these ground rules it keeps both teams against each other with essentially only weapons and grenades, so who ever has the better strategy and technique comes victorious. What do y'all think?

  • I don't think there should be NO heavy, maybe just limit it to one person who is allowed to pick up and use it on each team. I would like to see a mode with supers and without and see how that changed the balance, but no supers isn't necessarily bad. Next two I completely agree with. Thorn is debatable. While it is powerful and kind of annoying, you can counter it, which is really what matters when it comes to balanced gameplay. Agreed no camo. Blink should be allowed (no bias here, I'm a GS hunter). It's a great movement tool for 1v1 battles, but can be really hard to use when just moving around a map, so I think it balances. Plus, you can only do it twice every 10 or 15 seconds. Not a bad rule set. We can agree to disagree on some of the list, but overall I think I would still enjoy your rules over the current setup in Crucible.
