This includes tv shows and books as well.
When I was 8 I cried during the originial transformers movie (1986) when optimus died, maximum sadness above.
Also, in the Walking dead
I teared up quite a bit when carl had to shoot his own mother in the head to prevent her from turning. Such an emotional scene *sobs*
What has made you experience the deep well of sadness?

The professional.. I cry every time.

The Wind Rises made me tear up at some points, other than that I rarely cry at movies. No movie has messed me up as emotionally as Neon Genesis Evangelion did though. Misato crying over Kaji's death was really -blam!-ing sad.
-
I saw the 2012 movie when I was young and I thought the world would end so I had a panic attack and started crying but on December 21, 2012 nothing happened :D

Are you guys talking about legitimately crying or just getting a little teary? If you are talking about crying, some of you cry very easily (or were just young when you saw the movie).
-
Every time I watch Marley and me, and the first time I saw I am legend when he had to kill his dog.

When Gandalf falls in Moria. The way Frodo cries out and how lost Aragorn looks breaks my heart every time. Also when Sam wades into the river after Frodo. In I Am Legend when
Sam dies.
-
The ending to Monsters Inc.
-
They call me the Ice King for a reason. I refuse to allow Hollywood by expressing predictable and cliche endings and scenarios.
That got really formal and descriptive..
Edited by Bryanesie: 11/6/2014 9:16:19 PMYes, but the surprising part is they were all Japanese movies. そして父になる (soshite chichi ni naru/And so I become my father) was a very emotional film. It wasn't sappy or anything like that it just hit you right in the feels and it hit hard. Then there was The Ballad of Narayama. Which is the most depraved, barbaric movie I've ever seen, but the ending to which has such great human emotion in it, it's hard not to cry. I scoff at Japanese movies nowadays, but these were fantastic.
