Going by the art we've seen so far? Perhaps different armour parts, maybe the option to wear "battle-scarred" items, etc. Flag brearing on a player's back, akin to in 40K. Only smaller, if it's PvP.

People mocked those types of people, but I always thought the big, bulky characters looked awesome. Hell, in WoW I'm a Tauren and Draeni (spellings?) because they're huge and look awesome, hah. So I'm a fan of variety myself and looking badass.
