I can't f*cking take this anymore! I have to study alot of time? What the f*ck!?
Now wait a minute, here, if you want to pass, you need to get 60% atleast, and the teaching system is hard as f*ck!
So I was getting 95%-100% in junior high, now I study 5 times more and get 80%-90%, yeah I know 80%-90% is good, but when I hit 11th grade my grades will go down and admit it, no one wants to finish school like an idiot with low grades.
For f*ck's sake it pisses me off, I can't do anything with my life except for studying.
Do you mind sharing how did you pass high school, and how frustrating your life was? Or give me some advice to make me feel better?

I passed with an advanced diploma and don't do shit till senior year lol, take the classes you need to and put in effort in the last two quarters
-
Im your age. This shit is easy compared to life.

If you think that's bad then wait until you get to college.

I spent most of my time in high school sitting around in my pajamas and drawing comic books/playing guitar. As long as I got my work done, my teachers didn't care if I goofed around after getting done early. English class was easy, I didn't even read the books. I just listened to the class discussions about the plot and BS'd my way through the essays. History was more about learning how to take multiple choice tests. If you can eliminate a few wrong choices, you stand a better chance at getting the right one. Science and math went hand in hand, and were mostly just formulas to get the right answer. What I really learned in high school was that I was smart enough to coast by with little effort. That really isn't helpful tho. I had to learn about effort when I became a parent, which I would have been more prepared for if I learned that in high school. I buckled down, did the parenting while working and going to school....now I got a decent career in healthcare. If not for that, I'd still be working at a gas station with my other slacker buddies. Effort doesn't matter as much in high school as it does in real life, unless you planned on going to a big college afterwards. But learning how and when to put in that effort for maximal gains will serve you well in the future!

I listen to music, it helps me get through the day.

Highschool was simple. I never had to study and still passed all my tests.
-
It depends on the teacher and school, I transferred out of a class that was teaching algebra with crossword puzzles... That was my junior year
-
high school was pretty easy actually, maybe come out of AP classes if they are too hard for you but they were easy for me
-
I once corrected a physics teacher in my sleep. I slept through calc. Skipped 2 pages of the final, got a 90. Took 2 lunch periods because class was boring Spent lunch in the garden because it was always empty and people suck. Yea highschool was really hard... all i have to do now is work my ass off for next to no money and raise my son. Way easier.
-
High school was easy AF. Only challenging class was AP Physics-C.
-
-blam!- schooool
-
High school is easy. APPC and AP chemistry are the only classes I have/had to worry about. If you ever need help with any main high school subject, go to Khan Academy or get some review books. Are you in any AP classes by any chance?
-
Uh, calm down? It's only Highschool. It's probably the easiest part of the life you'll live. Get your shit together now, or you'll be more fucked than a normal individual's life after college. That's the truth.

Edited by floppy: 3/9/2015 7:32:40 PMI passed HS with maybe a 2.4 or 2.3 I didn't like school and never participated, I was one of those kids. You should keep at it if you want to go to a good 4 year
-
Had me a smart gf senior year. Wouldn't have graduated with out her haha
-
Lol, high school is easy dude.
-
I'm still in high school. Getting on your teachers' good side is huge, maybe even more so than diligence.
-
Lol, I just cheat through everything. I gotta 2.8, but whatever. It's been a breeze. One more year.
-
Might as well go buy a strong rope for college, especially if you go into any of the sciences or business.
-
You have to spend more time at a job. Just think that's it's practice for the working world and you'll be set.

Smoke a lot of weed

Who here was alive when people were stupid and getting into a good college was a a good as getting a 3.5 gpa. Now, to barely get into a uc, the teachers are saying we gotta do a ton of extra shit.
