Been playing since the Beta. Have seen far more recent players acquire it where I did not. Finally got it this week during Nightfall. The excitement of getting it was worth having to wait what 6 months? The only alternative to RND would be to make it based on merit. You do this, this and this and beat this, this and this...and you'll get a Gjally. Xur selling it would ruin the experience. I'm ticked he's selling IB's every week like he just got a huge shipment in from China. It's not wise to give away your best weapons.
