That would defeat the purpose though. If they nerf the gjallarhorn then give it to everyone they will have missed out on the full glory of the weapon which would ruin the fun of finally getting it anyway. Instead I think the upcoming expansion should have an arc launcher that is comparable in effectiveness to the gjallarhorn but in a different way. That way people have more chances of getting an awesome launcher and don't get so stuck on wanting gjallarhorn.

1 ReplyNot really down for your idea as it makes having it pointless but they should make specific grinds for specific weapons like certain strike bosses drop gjallarhorn more than others so people at least feel like they have a chance of getting it. I have played since day 1 and gjallarhorn is the only exotic weapon I don't have so I feel your frustration brother but nothing else needs to be nerfed.

Some players will get it as their first exotic and some player will not until they've reached 1000 hours played. It's completely random and unbiased. What you get is simply a roll of the dice. Consider going to the casino and offer the same suggestion: Nerf the jackpot by a bit and then give everyone here playing the opportunity to win it by simply matching 2 cherries. They will look at you funny and tell you to STFO. If the manager decides to do so, guess what, they'll nerf the sh!t out of the jackpot to where it is not functionally worth it to try and win it. Do you understand now?

I played over 1,100 hours and it's the only gun I need. ONLY. I don't come to the forums and complain to the public about it though. As much as you might think I want XUR to sell it, I don't. I want to get it on my own without everyone else having the same opportunity.
