here's the problem. You're asking for something for free.
If they up the stuff in vog then people who bought the vanilla game don't need the dlc to catch up.
This idea will never happen. Not unless it costs $ from our own pockets.

Got nothing against that! Hell, how about requiring something like Crux of Crota (or whatever the new equivalent would be) to be used in order to up the attack to the current content, in addition to DLC materials? I would certainly not mind going through the RNG hassle to upgrade fatebringer. That way, all raids are relevant. I do think the same shouldn't be possible with gear, ofc, just weapons.

new harder version that basically requires dlc to play since you can't reach a high enough level to enter without the most recent dlc it would drop the same weapons and gear at the current caps

Edited by Guardian1268: 3/2/2015 6:30:53 PMMaybe its ridiculous to you but some of us would like the option to integrate some of are old arsenal with then new ones I think it's ridiculous that we have about one option for raid weapons and armor and that the ones that are highest value aka the dark below have you not seen the fatebringer petitions most people would play vog on a high difficulty for a chance at a fatebring that can be upgraded to par with the other weapons you sound alittle ridiculous for not knowing a majority of people actually want this and it wouldn't require you to involve yourself nobody is forcing you to require and reupgrade weapons
