That's Bungie for you. Is anyone surprised they screwed this up? As seen by the shotgun buff, they cold have EASILY changed auto rifles for pvp only but nope, they had to go and screw them for everyone just because they can't accept people like using them.
The people behind this game are a joke and they seem to be purposely trying to make their game worse as time goes by. Where is more pve content as well? Every couple weeks it seems some new pvp mode is added but nothing for pve. They can't even change the same tired vanguard bounties after half a damn year? My goodness.
They may as well have just made the game pvp only with the lack of support they show the pve portion.

It's sad how they center all the changes of the game around pvp whiners when the game was designed to be centered around pve. I agree, they should make all these changes in response to people b!tching about in pvp NOT carry over into pve. I understand the pulse rifle buff, it was supposed to create more options in pve as well.... However, when they also nerfed autos, they didn't add weapon variety, they just made us substitute off of autos now since they're practically useless when compared to the other weapon types now. Bungie needs to learn to separate changes for pvp vs pve. Simple as that. I'm tired of all the pvp b!tchers crying for nerfs that carry over into my pve
