I made this thread for those of you who are excited for Arkham Knight. I have 3 theories of who it might be. Spoilers ahead if you haven't beaten Arkham City and if I am right about the new game... 1. Talia Al Ghul In Arkham City she talks about Bruce joining the league of assassins and leading an army through Gotham. She ends up dying, or so we think, by a bullet from Joker's gun. The game never revisits her body or the fact that she's "dead" after that. If you watch the clip below the Arkham Knight says a line that sounds robotic, but a bit feminine. It would make sense if it is her for certain reasons. One, she's always wanted to destroy Gotham. Two, if she did die, there are Lazarus pits to resurrect her. And three, if you read the prequel comic for Arkham Knight, the Arkham Knight appears to know Bruce very well. Talia was one of the only people Bruce truly ever loved. The only reason is because he didn't seem to know the real identity of Batman in Arkham City. But who knows. He surgically made himself look identical to Bruce Wayne. A figment of Bruce's imagination In the new trailer, you see that Scarecrow and the Arkham Knight seem to be very close at the 0:14 mark. The Scarecrow's fear toxin causes hallucinations. Could his very existence be just that? Could the Arkham Knight represent Bruce's biggest enemy, himself? During the whole trailer Poison Ivy never mentions the Arkham Knight. For me, this one is a bit of a stretch though. There are certain aspects of the plot that suggest the Arkham Knight is in fact a real entity; like the army bearing the Arkham knight logo and colors. Or if you read the comic prequel he/she shoots some dude in the head. I dunno. http://youtu.be/VpXUIh7rlWI Edit- one more character theory... I didn't really think they would bring this character into the story because he hasn't been really mentioned much but since seeing a leaked image for the Red Hood dlc, I think it's highly likely that the Arkham Knight could be Jason Todd.
