No, it does not drop in normal. Only hard. Atheon's Epilogue drops at Atheon on normal, which is how I got 2. It's only in Crota's End, which is a totally different raid, that primaries only drop on hard.

So even though you run hard you might get a normal weapon or a hard only weapon since you get 2 rolls.

Your 40 or more runs without getting it also adds a little weight to this fact, along with how rare it is.

thanks for the link. Apparently I have 24 hard clears, guess it may drop for me some day :) Not worrying about it too much though, I have fatebringer and all the other great weapons from vog, still would be nice to round out my collection though.

Just keep trying. RNG can't be helped so you just have to keep testing it. As for me, I would like that and a Mythoclast. I only have about 5 hard clears, but never got the chest until it was too late, so I know your pain.
