And we are happy about the matchmaking part. However, we are not happy in the way they are implementing it within game. While it will be a nice addition, I would also like the ability to lone wolf it / do it with only 2 people if I choose to.

Yeah, makes sense, I haven't really thought about that until the forum topics were brought up, which makes me think that Bungie never thought of it, I would guess it would be a future change.
