Do you have autism or asspergers syndrome?
So, I noticed there's hordes of fanboys who love to punish others on this forum.
Autistic people have impaired abilities to have sympathy or empathy for other people.
I wonder if this is a reason behind the huge outpourings of attacks on posters who are struggling with an issue related to Destiny?
Have you no sympathy? Does your autism prevent you from feeling others' pain? Do you even understand what I'm saying bro?
EDIT: I don't think it's autism. It's the Republican Party...teabaggers anyone?

2 RepliesConsidering my son has asperger's, this shows me what a douche you are. People with aspergers don't lack empathy, they have difficulty processing emotion. If anything, they feel greater empathy to the point of stress/anxiety and so sometimes they will shut down in order to cope. The problem in the destiny community is the sheer mass amount of entitled whiners who take the game and themselves way too seriously.

Not true to the slightest? They don't work that way, I have Mild-Functioning Autism. I have trouble with social and mental situations, but am capable of doing things related to everyday life, my niece has much worse autism. It has nothing to do with anything, please no posts like this.

If that really is what I just read I think I'm gonna punch you in the face. -.- Autism does not make people insensitive jerks, fyi. Seriously is this how people view us? Autism makes us [i]different[/i] not [i]inferior[/i]. Our brains work differently, and yes, we struggle socially, but [b]NO[/b] that does not make us insensitive jerks! All it means, in terms of this subject, is we won't realize the underlying angry/hurtful tone in some things we say. We don't have a lack of sympathy; we have a struggle realizing that something we say might be offensive, from time to time. Apologies about saying I'd punch you in the face, but bloody hell, man, think about how what you say might make others feel, would ya?

1 ReplyThe game removed our sympathy. It sits here and -blam!-s us, so when some virgin gets -blam!-ed for the first time, we only remind him that there's plenty more -blam!-ing in the future. This is why we have no sympathy. I personally Disagree with Aspergers Syndrome. I've known multiple people diagnosed with it. They don't have disease. They need to go outside, they need to be forced to talk to people. Instead they are pandered to and allowed to complete University without attending class, or finishing assignments. -blam!- Them.

Question- why did you decide to post this in the Feedback section of the forums? Do you feel this poll is somehow relevant to the video game product Bungie released. What's Bungie's roll in regards to this grievance? Maybe you should move this post to the Community section. Or if you wish to create a clan full of autistic guardians, maybe you could move it to the Recruitment section.
