That's because you haven't played as long nor done as many raids-so your sample size is smaller (you've done less than half the raids I've done, pulled your profile.) Play as long as I have young padawan and the truth, you will see. I didn't start to notice it till after 4 or 5 months, because the exotic drop rate is still relatively low, but it will soon become apparent, don't worry.
