I'm actually surprised that anyone ever tried to roll Firefly on Timur's Lash. I knew from the beginning that Firefly only showed up on Scouts and Snipers, because the strategy guide clearly says so.
But even if I hadn't read the guide, a month of Destiny pretty much assured me that Firefly was only for those two guns.
I feel sorry for anyone who wasted tons of motes trying to it on the Lash though. Hopefully this post prevents any future mistakes like that.

Wow, are you an idiot? We have already established that Fatebringer is the only non scout/sniper rifle gun that has the Firefly perk. The point of this thread was that you CANNOT roll Firefly on Timur's Lash, because Fatebringer is the only hand cannon that has that perk. My comment was expressing surprise that anyone would think they could get Firefly on Timur's Lash, because it's a perk reserved for scout/sniper rifles, with the exception of Fatebringer, which is what makes it special. Try to keep up with the conversation, or keep quiet.

Fatebringer is the only exception. No other hand cannon (at the time of this post) can get firefly.

No, it didn't. I bought it last Iron Banner and it DEFINITELY did not have Firefly, or I wouldn't have reforged it.
