  • I'd also buy one if you sold them and I don't think it be copyright or anything cause people make props and such from the games and other games with their designs from the game and they don't get in trouble. :b

  • Well, I've researched it quite a bit, and like I said in a previous response, it really is a big gray area for copyright law. Because on the one hand, you're dealing with creatures and characters created and owned by Bungie, but on the other hand, you're dealing with my own personal artwork that I created myself. So its really sticky. Honestly, if I were to ever set up a booth at a trade show or something and sell these shirt ideas I have, and they took me to court over it, they would more than likely win. However, its not a guaranteed win. And generally, game companies usually don't sue their fans over fan art and fan-created merch like this because it actually helps them. I'm not a big manufacturer, so I wouldn't really be making much off of these if I ever sold them. But what I would be doing is helping to spread their brand around. Its like marketing they don't have to pay for. Plus is just gets messy for game companies when they start suing fans. Its not good for their reputation. So I don't know. Will I ever really try to sell these? Who knows. But Bungie would be pretty stupid to go after me for it. It wouldn't be a good move on their part.

  • Ohhhh, I see. Yeah I agree with you, I don't think they would even bother taking to to court, but hey, you never know what can happen.
