I'm guessing you might get hit for copyright issues since you are using Bungie intellectual property for commercial gain, unless you have written permission of course.

I'm not selling anything. Just checking out interest. And its a bit of a gray area anyway, considering they are my own personal drawings of their characters. But again, like I said, not selling anything here.

Edited by half an idea: 2/19/2015 6:31:05 AMIt isn't a grey area I'm afraid if they can show that you are marketing to their audience base and using a similar copy righted design, logo, etc... That can sue you for infringement and claim a share of your profits and damages to their company reputation and future sales of any one else you may be in competition with legitimately doing a similar thing. If you had just sold them and never put them on the forum you could argue that it was not related... But it's in the forum now so you just lost your case. Sorry.

Your argument is invalid. I haven't sold anything. I haven't even made one of these. The images are just mockups. This is just a forum post to kick around ideas. I can't be sued for that.

Well if you do fancy making some doe stop posting the images on the forum, your best bet is to not mention it again and post it on reddit or similar. any image posted on here and then later sold would be easy to take you to court over. It also doesn't mater if you don't make profit they can potential sue for damages to reputation even if you gave it all away for free. My point was a warning of how [u]to[/u] do it (not through the forum) with a little help with a suggestion of what they would have to prove. Read the post check what they are guarded agains and then... ;)
