Digital vs Physical

When it comes to owning/purchasing a game, which platform do you prefer and why? It seems to me that a lot of gamers are collectors and appreciate the physical aspects of a game, the case, etc. A lot of people also like the convenience of not having to switch games when they want to play something different.
I'm a bit biased as I sell digital Nintendo games on eBay so I have to advocate their use a lot of the time. But this is unrelated so I can be honest!
For me, I personally feel some games lend themselves to digital forms well (Animal Crossing) while others demand longer investments of time (Halo, for instance). Just my two-cents though. What's yours?

 • It depends. I love looking at my shelf and seeing it lined with games. On the other hand my girl and I LAN, Destiny, Dying Light, Borderlands, Minecraft etc as we cant stand split screen. 120$ is a lot to dish out on a new co op experience. So we go digital in that case cuz we can game share.
